How to switch
In the NHS App
Open Prescriptions, then Your nominated pharmacy. Choose Change your nominated pharmacy, then High street pharmacies, search for BB5 3JD and pick Oswaldtwistle Pharmacy.
Or in myGP
Look for your nominated pharmacy when you order a repeat, and choose us.
Or just ask
Ask us in the pharmacy, or call, and we’ll set it up for you. Your GP surgery can change it too.
Steps for the NHS App: NHS App help.
After you switch
Prescriptions your surgery sends after the change come to us. Order your repeat as usual, in the NHS App or with us online, and we’ll text you when it’s ready to collect, or bring it to you.
Questions people ask
Does it cost anything?
No. Choosing or changing your nominated pharmacy is free.
Do I need to tell my old pharmacy?
No. You change it on the NHS system, in the app or by asking us or your surgery, and that’s it.
What about a prescription that’s already been sent?
A prescription your surgery sent before you switched may still go to your old pharmacy. Ask them for it, or ask us and we’ll help.
Can I change back?
Yes, whenever you like, the same way.
